How to make new mounts that work?
I see can have new looking mounts with CEP 2.61, how does one set them up so they can be rode like horse? And same with dragon mounts. If could please step by step explain how to set them up. So far I am really liking all the new content added in 2.61

If I recall correctly (it's been a loooong time since I added new mounts in my PW), you need to adjust the mount scripting to account for the new appearances. This is so that the script looks at the mount's appearance.2da entry and then sets the correct tail appearance from tailmodel.2da.

Hi, at first, excuse my english, i'm a french guy, so for my first post, congratulations for bringing life to this last version of CEP.
To make new mounts, i follow Proleric tutorial, but i've got a big problem: i doon't have a clue of the numbers of lines for 2da tail models, so by trying randomly , i've found griffin =5000 and then i've made it, but i'm looking for several other phenotypes has licornes/unicornes and lizards for underdark for example. Is there, an excel or other checklist of these numbers of tailmodels associated with the corresponding template in aurora editor?

You can find appearance.2da (which holds regular creature appearances) and tailmodel.2da (which holds all of the things that can be assigned as "tails") are in cep2_top_2_60.hak. You can open the hak file with NeverwinterNights/NWN/utils/nwhak.exe and get the ones you want (by right clicking on the 2da files you want and picking "Export"). You can open a 2da file with any basic text editor.
If there are specific mounts you need, you can list them here (with exact appearance names). I should be able to look them up and post the matching tail model numbers.

Thank you, your explanations are very helpful for a beginner as me, i've done so, then i've got all, my mod require i think, if not, i'll put a list here for the missing ones but it seems to be ok... I'm very gratefull for a so quick answering
