CEP

The Community Expansion Pack (CEP) is a large hak pak collection of community-made custom content. Most of the included material comes from content previously posted on the Neverwinter Vault by independent users, with additional content developed specifically for the CEP. Included content is organized to function properly together, with necessary updates made to models, scripts, and .2da files. The CEP is intended to be a "universal" download - players can download this single package to access a large number of modules and persistent worlds that otherwise would have each required their own individual downloads.

Builders using the CEP for their module have the option of selecting which CEP content appears in-game. Custom content from the CEP does not override default Neverwinter Nights content. The CEP has been very successful, and many long-term players have found the CEP to be as vital to Neverwinter Nights as the expansion packs.

DOWNLOAD: Version 2.4a (CEP_24_a.rar, 973.2 MB)
This is the latest (current) version, with all the needed files included. If using version 2.4 or later, DO NOT USE the version 2.3 updater! It no longer functions properly with the latest CEP and will remove newer content. It is backwards compatible, able to be used with any module or server running versions 2.1 to 2.4.

DOWNLOAD: Version 2.3 (CEP_23_Full_C.7z, 738 MB)
Some modules or servers may still use this version, so it is available for downloading (though not recommended, as version 2.4 will still work with such modules). This version includes updater software just for version 2.3.

DOWNLOAD: Older Versions (up to 2.2):
Some older modules (and possibly even some servers) still require an old version of CEP. You can find them here. Older versions may not be compatible with the 1.69 patch to NWN. For some of these, 3rd-party modifications are available on the Vault (you'll want to do a search). As a player, you can install older versions at the same time as the current version without them conflicting.

INSTALLATION: Simple installation instructions are available here.
