CEP Tilesets as Stand Alone Hak
Some of us are rebirthing an older mod and we wanted to update its old tilesets with those from CEP. What makes this difficult is we made the tough decision to use Project Q over CEP. CEP however has to much amazing content to not use, so we have been harvesting the parts we like the most.
We weren't sure if we actually needed more than just the CEP_add_tiles2. We are very noobish at this stuff and have been self teaching for the last couple months. We went ahead and pulled in the tileset haks, CEP_add_tiles2, CEP_add_tilest, CEP_ext_tiles and noticed that there was at least 1 missing texture on the CEP Forest. We noticed that the Core 6 had the texture. That is the only tileset we checked before we realized that it might be easier to ask if anyone has packaged the cep tilesets neatly together with all textures?

Re: CEP Tilesets as Stand Alone Hak
As far as I know, no one has packaged the CEP tilesets separately. Feel free to pull (extract) that texture file you need from cep2_core6 and add it to your own hak file so that tileset works for you.
The choice to use CEP or Q is a tough one sometimes. I myself use both, but combining them with my own custom content is a giant mashup of 2da files that wouldn't work for others.
Good luck, and have fun with your creation/update!

Yuck. Thats too bad, I guess its time to get to work. Maybe in a while I will be uploading a stand alone CEP tileset hak onto the nwn vault.

Re: CEP Tilesets as Stand Alone Hak
Its just about a done deal. I have a question maybe someone could help me with.
I was able to gather most of the textures just by harvesting the files which shared the same suffix as the tileset. Example: A given tileset's models are all titled ztf01_xxx_xx.mdl. So I just grab every file that begins with ztf01 for that tile.
That got me pretty far, all but a handful of textures. I have a question about tracking down the few remaining. I know a specific tile I am missing the texture for, ztf01_a83_01. How can I look at that specific mdl and find out what textures it requires? Is that something gmax can do? Would it be possible to open this in notepad and view it that way?

If you open the desired tile model in gmax, you can select the part that is missing a texture and find out the name of the texture file. You can then use NWN Explorer Reborn to search (Ctrl+S) for that file and extract it for your haks.
